Under the "MINISTOP Sustainability Basic Policy" established in November 2021, the company is pursuing three environmental goals: CO2 reduction (achieved the 2030 target ahead of schedule, aiming for net zero by 2040), food loss reduction, and plastic reduction (achieved the 2030 target ahead of schedule). Regarding human capital, the company has set targets of a 20% ratio of female managers (FY2026 target) and a 2.7% employment rate for persons with disabilities, and has been certified as an Excellent Health Management Corporation (Large Enterprise Category) for four consecutive years. The company supports TCFD and has conducted scenario analyses for 1.5–2°C and 4°C scenarios, and is also preparing to respond to ISSB standards.
