Business

System Support Holdings, Inc. (formerly System Support, Inc.) is an independent IT services group founded in 1980 in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Together with 9 consolidated subsidiaries, the group operates across five segments: Cloud Integration, System Integration, Outsourcing, Product, and Overseas. Centered on alliances with major cloud vendors such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and ServiceNow, the company supports corporate DX promotion through a multifaceted range of services including technical support, license resale, proprietary product sales, and data center operations. Its main customers are domestic general business corporations, manufacturers, construction companies, and medical institutions, and it also has business bases in North America (the United States and Canada). The company transitioned to a holding company structure in January 2025, and has been listed on the TSE Prime Market since April 2022.

Business Model

Revenue is broadly composed of four pillars. ① Cloud Integration: technical support fees through alliances with cloud vendors and resale revenue (resale) from licenses, etc. ② System Integration: project-based revenue from ERP, contract development, and the like. ③ Outsourcing: stock-type revenue centered on monthly data center usage fees. ④ Product: revenue from sales and customization of proprietary software such as SHIFTEE, Tateyakusha, and Shugyoyakusha. The expansion of resale following the shift to cloud has increased the stock-type nature of revenue, contributing to greater earnings stability.

Company Strengths

The company has concluded official partner agreements with the four major cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and ServiceNow. By accumulating technical qualifications and certification achievements from cloud vendors, it has built a mechanism to continuously acquire customer referrals, and Cloud Integration Business sales in FY2025 (ended June 2025) achieved high growth, reaching ¥9,717 million (up 34.6% year on year).

Sales expanded approximately 1.9-fold over four fiscal periods, from ¥14,431 million in FY2021 (ended June 2021) to ¥26,938 million in FY2025 (ended June 2025). Operating income also grew approximately 2.4-fold over the same period, from ¥931 million to ¥2,218 million. The operating margin in FY2025 (ended June 2025) improved to 8.2%, with profit growth continuing to outpace sales growth.

In-house developed software such as SHIFTEE, Tateyakusha, and Shugyoyakusha delivers high profitability, with the Product Business segment margin at 27.0% (¥249 million ÷ ¥923 million). In the Outsourcing Business, recurring revenue such as monthly data center usage fees continues to accumulate, with sales in FY2025 (ended June 2025) reaching ¥2,392 million (up 17.1% year on year), maintaining stable growth.

ENVALITH's Perspective

Cumulative sales of ¥23,042 million for the nine months ended March 2026 (Q3 FY2026 ending June 2026) reached 71.9% of the full-year forecast of ¥32,060 million, while operating profit of ¥2,407 million reached 84.7% of the full-year forecast of ¥2,842 million, indicating a high likelihood of achieving the full-year forecast. Regarding the external environment, IT investment demand from client companies remains robust, and the diversification of use cases for generative AI, IoT, and cloud services continues to serve as a tailwind. The growth rate of the Cloud Integration Business (up 19.9% year on year) exceeded the company-wide growth rate (up 14.2% year on year), and the rising proportion of this high-profitability segment, which is contributing to margin improvement, is worthy of positive evaluation.

The segment profit margin of the System Integration Business improved significantly to 6.4% in the nine months ended March 2026 (Q3 FY2026 ending June 2026), compared to 4.7% in the same period of the previous year, but it remains low relative to the Cloud Integration Business (14.9%) and the Product Business (19.2%). While M&A activity and the acquisition of large-scale projects have contributed to the improvement in profitability, project profitability risk specific to contract development and upward pressure on personnel costs remain ongoing challenges.

Through the pursuit of an M&A strategy that includes the acquisition of Echo System, goodwill balance increased from ¥422 million at the end of the previous fiscal year to ¥603 million, and short-term borrowings expanded from ¥720 million to ¥1,669 million. The equity ratio stood at 44.7%, a slight increase from 44.1% at the end of the previous fiscal year, indicating that financial soundness has been maintained. However, continued attention is needed regarding the increase in interest-bearing debt accompanying more active M&A activity, as well as the risk of integration costs and unrealized synergies. Potential slowdowns in client IT investment due to external factors such as U.S. tariff policy and geopolitical risks should also be kept in mind as a potential risk.

Growth Strategy

Aiming for sales of ¥40,153 million or more in FY2028 (ending June 2028) by capturing DX demand through a focus on cloud CI, M&A, and human capital investment

As a priority area under the medium-term management plan, the company continues to deepen alliances with cloud vendors such as ServiceNow and Google Cloud and to develop engineering talent. Cumulative results for the first three quarters of FY2026 (ending June 2026) showed strong growth, with sales of ¥8,570 million (up 19.9% year on year) and segment profit of ¥1,279 million (up 23.4% year on year), progressing as planned.

In July 2025, the company made Echo System Co., Ltd. a subsidiary, strengthening its expansion into the Western Japan, Chugoku-Shikoku, and Fukuoka areas. The contribution of this company led to a substantial improvement in segment profit for the System Integration Business, up 39.4% year on year. The company will continue to use M&A as a growth driver, expanding the scope of consolidation and diversifying its earnings base.

Sales of the SaaS-based cloud shift management system SHIFTEE and the attendance/work management system Shugyoyakusha have been performing well. Cumulative results for the first three quarters of FY2026 (ending June 2026) showed strong growth in the Product Business, with sales up 29.4% year on year and segment profit up 39.3% year on year. The company will continue to expand its customer base through a dual-channel approach of direct sales and agency sales.

Under the medium-term management plan "Rolling Plan (FY2026–FY2028, ending June 2028)," the company has established "growth and success of diverse talent" and "strengthening sustainability management" as basic policies, promoting investment in human capital and the development of organizational foundations. As the shortage of IT talent becomes an industry-wide challenge, continued investment in recruitment and training will be key to maintaining competitiveness.
