Based on the Sustainability Policy established in 2021, the company has set up a Sustainability Promotion Committee (with Environment, Society, and Group subcommittees) chaired by the President, and has identified eight materiality items including climate change, human rights, human capital, and regional revitalization. The company endorses the TCFD recommendations and has conducted scenario analyses for 1.5°C and 4°C scenarios, while completing the shift to CO₂-free electricity and LED lighting at major sites across all 22 group companies in FY2025 (ending March 2026). At the core company Asahi Broadcasting Television, the ratio of female managers reached 15.1% and the male employee childcare leave uptake rate reached 100%.
