Company with a Board of Corporate Auditors. The Board of Directors comprises 10 directors (including 5 outside directors), and the Board of Corporate Auditors comprises 3 auditors (including 2 outside auditors). An executive officer system has been introduced to separate decision-making/oversight functions from business execution functions. In September 2019, a voluntary Nomination and Compensation Committee was established to strengthen governance.
Risk Management
A quarterly monitoring framework by the Compliance Committee and a semi-annual reporting structure to the Board of Directors have been established. As a food safety measure, a Quality Assurance Office has been set up to conduct regular patrols of the wholesale market floor. The company also undergoes regular and ad hoc inspections by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and addresses legal risks in collaboration with its retained attorneys.

As a marine products wholesaler operating in the central wholesale market, the company's basic policy is to secure a stable management foundation under its public mission and to strive for the continuation of stable dividends, giving comprehensive consideration to strengthening its business foundation, maintaining sound financial standing, and preparing for future business development, while paying dividends in line with business performance. The FY2026 (ending March 2026) fiscal year-end dividend is ¥120 per share (total dividends of ¥479 million, consolidated payout ratio of 16.3%). The projected dividend for FY2027 (ending March 2027) is also planned at ¥120 per share.
ESG
The company is engaged in the development of a traceability system aimed at eradicating IUU fishing and in the effective utilization of marine resources. Under the Medium-Term Management Plan 2028, it has set biodiversity conservation, global warming countermeasures, and waste reduction as priority goals. On the human capital front, the company is promoting the advancement of women (having achieved a 21.4% share of women among new graduate/career hires), expanding its post-retirement re-employment system, conducting mental health training, and enrolling in GLTD insurance, among other efforts to improve the internal work environment.
