Under the corporate philosophy of "A better tomorrow than today, a better today than yesterday," the company pursues sustainability initiatives centered on human resource development. It promotes the hiring of personnel with diverse nationalities and attributes as well as rank-specific training programs, and has set 2030 targets of raising the proportion of women in managerial positions to 30% (currently 15.3%), the proportion of foreign nationals to 20% (currently 6.1%), and the male childcare leave take-up rate to 100%. The company has built a framework in which the Management Committee gathers information and deliberates countermeasures as appropriate regarding climate change and environmental change risks.
