Business

BCC Co., Ltd. operates two core businesses: the IT Sales Outsourcing Business (approximately 88% of revenue), centered on dispatching and outsourcing sales personnel to major IT companies, and the Healthcare Business (approximately 11% of revenue), which promotes nursing care recreation and partners with local governments. The company has a network of over 50 major IT companies and a track record of providing IT support to a cumulative total of over 1,300 small and medium-sized enterprises. It also possesses a senior platform comprising over 70,000 members of the Kaigo Reku Hiroba (Nursing Care Recreation Plaza) and nearly 40,000 certified Recreation Care Workers, and positions the fusion of IT and healthcare DX as its medium- to long-term growth axis. The company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market (now the Growth Market) in July 2021.

Business Model

In the core IT Sales Outsourcing Business, the flow-type model—training inexperienced individuals into IT sales personnel through the proprietary BCC-LaPT Program and dispatching/outsourcing them to major IT companies—forms the core of earnings. In addition, the company builds up stock-type revenue from network solutions provided through the BMX service (¥211 million, up 48.1% year on year). In the Healthcare Business, revenue is generated through contracted work from local governments and corporate promotional support utilizing the senior platform.

Company Strengths

The BCC-LaPT Program has established a system for developing inexperienced individuals into IT sales talent. The number of dispatched and outsourced personnel reached a record high of 166 at the end of FY2025 (ending September 2025), expanding further to 170 by the end of the following Q1. The company also offers "LAPTRE," an e-learning platform that systematizes over 20 years of training know-how.

The network of over 50 major IT companies built since the company's founding serves as a barrier to entry. In FY2025 (ending September 2025), the main clients were Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (22.1% of sales), Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (14.6% of sales), and Nippon Steel Solutions Corporation (10.1% of sales), with the top three clients accounting for approximately 47% of total sales.

The Nursing Care Recreation Business has over 110,000 nursing care recreation personnel, combining over 70,000 members of the Nursing Care Recreation Plaza (over 85% of whom are nursing care professionals) and nearly 40,000 certified recreation care workers. This is a rare network asset that serves as a foundation for market research and promotional support for companies aiming to newly enter or expand into the healthcare field.

ENVALITH's Perspective

For the first half of FY2026 (ending March 2026) (October 2025 to March 2026), net sales were ¥923 million, operating loss was ¥81 million, and net loss attributable to owners of the parent was ¥90 million. The full-year forecast calls for net sales of ¥1,850 million, operating loss of ¥194 million, and net loss of ¥135 million, indicating that losses are expected to widen further from the previous fiscal year's operating loss of ¥98 million. M&A-related expenses, amortization of goodwill, and corporate-wide expenses (¥110 million) are pressuring earnings, and the investment-ahead phase continues.

Following a third-party allotment of new shares in December 2025 (increasing both common stock and capital surplus by ¥294 million each), cash and deposits at the end of the interim period stood at ¥984 million, with an equity ratio of 68.1%, indicating that the financial base has been secured to a certain extent. On the other hand, retained earnings were negative at ¥64 million due to accumulated losses, raising concerns that continued loss recognition could erode financial capacity. There is no note regarding going concern assumptions.

By segment, the IT Sales Outsourcing Business posted net sales of ¥809 million and segment profit of ¥75 million (profit margin of 9.3%), securing profitability. The Healthcare Business recorded net sales of ¥106 million and a loss of ¥8 million, while Other Business recorded net sales of ¥8 million and a loss of ¥38 million. Corporate-wide expenses not allocated to any segment were substantial at ¥112 million, which was the main driver of the consolidated operating loss of ¥81 million. Reducing the Other Business loss and improving the efficiency of corporate-wide expenses will be key to improving earnings.

Growth Strategy

Multifaceted growth through IT talent expansion, BMX recurring revenue, healthcare DX, and M&A utilization

Continuing to recruit inexperienced hires by leveraging the BCC-LaPT Program and the e-learning platform "LAPTRE." The number of dispatched and outsourced personnel reached 174 at the end of the interim period, while new customer acquisition through digital marketing is also being promoted in parallel.

Continuing to expand the network solution "BMX" service for mid-sized and small-to-medium enterprises. Sales in the Solutions Business (BMX) for the interim period performed well at ¥116 million, with progress being made in accumulating recurring revenue.

Through the consolidation of Good Digital Co., Ltd. and the acquisition of the system engineering services business from DXO Co., Ltd. (total acquisition cost of approximately ¥95 million), the Engineering Business (Good Digital / DXO Business) recorded sales of ¥128 million for the interim period. Goodwill (provisionally ¥113 million) is being amortized on a straight-line basis over 10 years.

Made Robotas Net Co., Ltd. (Subsidiary), which handles DX support and nursing care robot introduction support for nursing care facilities, a subsidiary (acquisition cost of ¥20 million, voting rights ratio of 95.2%). Only the three-month period from January to March 2026 was consolidated in the interim period. Synergies with the Healthcare Business are being pursued.

Through Merry Mew, which was selected for a subsidy program under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Career Advancement Support Business through Reskilling," the company provides support for career transitions from other industries into IT sales roles. Sales in the Other Business for the interim period remained at ¥8 million, with a loss of ¥38 million, as the upfront investment phase continues.
