Business
Aisan Technology is a Nagoya-based technology company founded in 1970. It consists of two core pillars: the Public Segment, centered on the surveying software "WingneoINFINITY" (software, equipment, and contract services for the surveying and real estate registration markets), and the Mobility & DX Segment, which handles MMS (Mobile Mapping System), high-precision 3D maps, and autonomous driving social implementation. Its main customers include government agencies, surveying companies, construction consultants, local governments, and transportation operators. With a group structure including four subsidiaries (Sled, Sanwa, A-Drive, and Akisoku), the company defines itself as the only company in Japan capable of providing an integrated, end-to-end offering from surveying technology to autonomous driving.
Business Model
In the Public Segment, recurring revenue from the periodic update and support service (ATM'S) for the core software "WingneoINFINITY" serves as a stable foundation. In the Mobility & DX Segment, in addition to MMS equipment sales, high-precision 3D map creation contract services, and autonomous vehicle sales, system construction, and demonstration testing contract services, the company is advancing the development of a recurring revenue model through the productization of post-sale support packages. Participation in projects selected for subsidies from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism supports order acquisition, and the business has a structure in which revenue concentrates toward the fiscal year-end.
Company Strengths
Building on over 50 years of high-precision positioning calculation technology cultivated since its founding, the company possesses an in-house group structure capable of completing everything from surveying software and MMS (Mobile Mapping System) to high-precision 3D maps and autonomous driving systems. In FY2026 (ending March 2026), the company participated in 17 regions out of 67 nationwide projects under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Autonomous Driving Social Implementation Promotion Business, accumulating one of the highest track records in the industry.
WingneoINFINITY has a long track record of adoption in the surveying and real estate registration markets, and the stock-type revenue from regular updates and support services (ATM'S) forms the revenue base of the Public Segment. In FY2026 (ending March 2026), the Public Segment's operating profit margin reached 18.1%, a significant improvement from 13.8% in the previous fiscal year. The end of Windows 10 support and revisions to work procedure standards served as tailwinds.
In addition to capital and business alliances with Tier IV, Inc., Sompo Japan, KDDI, and Mitsubishi Corporation, the company invested in MapFor in September 2025. It also jointly established A-Drive Corporation with Mitsubishi Corporation and obtained a public road driving permit for Level 4 autonomous driving (Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, January 2025), steadily building a track record toward social implementation.
ENVALITH's Perspective
Performance Trend
Revenue increased 81% over four years, from ¥4,191 million in FY2022 (ended March 2022) to ¥7,593 million in FY2026 (ending March 2026), with growth accelerating. Operating profit remained flat at ¥449 million in FY2025 (ended March 2025) but rebounded sharply to ¥760 million in FY2026 (ending March 2026), improving the operating margin from 7.2% to 10.0%. This was driven by a combination of factors: the emergence of returns from human capital investments made in the prior period, demand related to Windows 10 support termination and revisions to work regulations (an external factor) in the Public Segment, and the completion within the fiscal year of the autonomous driving social implementation business in the Mobility & DX Segment. For FY2027 (ending March 2027), the company plans revenue of ¥8,000 million and operating profit of ¥850 million, and the structure of recovering from a first-half loss in the second half is expected to continue.
Growth Strategy
Achieve the final-year targets of the medium-term management plan through maximizing profitability in the Public Business and full-scale implementation of Mobility & DX social implementation
In addition to stable revenue from regular version upgrades and support services (ATM'S), the company is expanding functions of the point cloud CAD system "ANIST" and the point cloud processing tool "WingEarth," and promoting bundled proposals with handy scanners. Through business area expansion leveraging newly established locations and strengthened sales partnerships, the company aims for Public Segment net sales of ¥3,757 million and an operating margin of 17.4% in FY2027 (ending March 2027).
The company continues to participate in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's subsidized program (the FY2026 "Autonomous Driving Social Implementation Promotion Business") and is accelerating social implementation promotion across municipalities nationwide through A-Drive Co., Ltd. By commercializing a post-sale support package for autonomous driving vehicles, the company aims to shift from one-off sales to recurring revenue. It plans Mobility & DX Segment net sales of ¥4,233 million and segment profit of ¥432 million for FY2027 (ending March 2027).
The company is taking on the challenge of the Urban Spatial DX Business, which aims to build a foundation for urban operations by integrating all forms of data, including 3D point cloud data. This is currently positioned as an investment phase, with solution development and proposals being advanced while narrowing down target markets and customers. Partnership building, including an equity investment in Mapfor (September 2025), is also being pursued in parallel.
As a basic policy of the FY2024–2026 medium-term management plan, the company is promoting active talent acquisition and employee skill development. Education and training of personnel hired in the previous fiscal year has progressed, and in FY2026 (ending March 2026), their participation in business activities and contribution to profits was confirmed. The company will continue to increase its hiring plans and training investment, and aim to improve the structure in which increased costs in the first half are recovered through profits in the second half.
