Risk Management

The company has established compliance and risk management regulations, working with legal counsel and other experts to prevent risks before they occur. It conducts quarterly self-inspections using a compliance checklist, and has set up a system whereby a Compliance and Risk Committee is formed to respond promptly when a risk arises. The Business Audit Office (two internal audit staff) conducts regular internal audits and reports to the Representative Director, the Board of Directors, and the Audit and Supervisory Committee, forming a three-tier structure.

Shareholder Returns

The annual dividend for FY2026 (ending April 2026) is ¥16.00 per share (interim ¥8.00 + year-end ¥8.00), with a payout ratio of 21.5% (revised). A dividend increase to ¥18.00 is planned for FY2027 (ending April 2027). No share buybacks are planned; the policy is to return value to shareholders through continued dividend increases.

On the environmental front, the company promotes 3R activities such as facilitating the circulation of used beauty and hair salon equipment and collecting hair color agent containers, has introduced EVs as company vehicles, and donates to tree-planting activities, and began calculating CO2 emissions from FY2024 (ending April 2024). On the human capital front, the company has set a target of raising the ratio of female managers to at least one-third by the end of June 2030, with the current-period actual figure standing at 27.8%. It has established various systems to support diverse working styles, including staggered work hours, shorter working hours, permission for side jobs, and a job challenge program, and is also working to correct the gender pay gap.
