Risk Management

Climate change-related risks are positioned as a material risk, discussed and analyzed periodically at the Business Promotion Council (composed of directors, executive officers, and department heads), with results reported to the Board of Directors. A framework has been established under which the Internal Audit Office (reporting directly to the Representative Director) sets up a Risk Management Committee when risks are identified. The company is a member of the TCFD Consortium and identifies and discloses policy and regulatory risks, technology and market risks, and reputational risks.

Shareholder Returns

The annual dividend for FY2026 (ending March 2026) is ¥44.00 per share (payout ratio of 55.1%). For FY2027 (ending March 2027), the dividend is also planned at ¥44.00 (forecast payout ratio of 55.4%). Excluding cases of a net loss, the policy is to set a floor of ¥44.00 or more for the annual dividend per share for FY2026–FY2027, with a target payout ratio of approximately 55%. No share buybacks were conducted during the current fiscal year.

Emphasis is placed on securing retained earnings and providing stable, continuous profit returns to shareholders.

As a member of the TCFD Consortium, the company has set a target of reducing CO2 emissions by 50% by FY2031 (ending March 2031) compared to FY2020 (ending March 2020) levels, and achieving net zero by FY2051 (ending March 2051). On the human capital front, the company achieved a female employee ratio of 26.8% (target: 27.0%) and a 100% childcare leave return rate, and has obtained Kurumin certification and Eruboshi certification (third stage). The company also contributes to the sustainable development of local communities through investments in Tokyo Metropolitan Government green bonds and support for children's cafeterias (kodomo shokudo).
