Risk Management

Established a risk management framework through agile operation of the management committee and other bodies, along with close communication with top management. In the event of a major risk, the company responds on a company-wide basis centered on the President. For information management risk, the company has obtained ISO/IEC27001 (ISMS) certification (obtained in 2003, transitioned in 2007) and has also established personal information protection regulations. For climate-related risks, the Sustainability Promotion Office identifies and evaluates such risks, and a framework has been built whereby they are reported to the Board of Directors via the Sustainability Committee.

Shareholder Returns

Annual dividend forecast for FY2027 (ending February 2027) raised to ¥81 per share (¥40 at Q2-end, ¥41 at year-end). The Q2-end dividend includes a commemorative dividend of ¥10 in addition to the ordinary dividend of ¥30. This represents an increase of ¥21 from the prior-period actual of ¥60.

Established a Sustainability Committee and Promotion Office, conducting climate change scenario analysis (1.5°C and 4°C) based on TCFD. The company targets a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions by FY2030 (compared to FY2020) and net zero by FY2045, promoting EV vehicle adoption and renewable energy procurement. In human capital, the company established the CSP Group Human Rights Policy in 2023 and is promoting DE&I.
