ESG

The Sustainability Committee (chaired by the Representative Director and President), established in November 2023, oversees ESG issues such as climate change and human capital, and reports to the Board of Directors at least twice a year. On climate change, the company has set targets to reduce CO2 emissions (domestic non-consolidated Scope 1+2) by 46% by FY2030 compared to FY2013 levels, and to achieve carbon neutrality by FY2050. On the human capital front, the company is promoting a shift toward "human capital portfolio management" and company-wide optimized human resource management.
