Dividend Policy
The basic policy targets a payout ratio of approximately 40% of net income attributable to owners of the parent, with dividends paid twice a year as an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), the year-end dividend was increased by ¥13 from the initially planned ¥59 to ¥72, bringing the annual dividend to ¥131 (payout ratio of 40.1%). For FY2027 (ending March 2027), an annual dividend of ¥163, consisting of an interim dividend of ¥81.50 and a year-end dividend of ¥81.50, is planned (targeted payout ratio of approximately 40.0%).
ESG
The Sustainability Committee, chaired by the President, meets monthly and discloses climate and natural capital risks in line with TCFD and TNFD frameworks. Targeting carbon neutrality for FY2030, the bank has already reduced its own Scope 1+2 emissions by 79.64% in FY2025 compared to FY2013. Cumulative sustainable finance reached ¥556.5 billion (of which environmental finance was ¥268.4 billion), and in human capital management the company has achieved a 23.2% ratio of women in managerial/supervisory positions and a 100% male childcare leave take-up rate.
