Risk Management

The Company has established a Risk Management Committee (comprised of executive officers and other department heads) based on its Risk Management Regulations, and manages company-wide risk in an integrated manner. A system has been put in place to report important matters to the Management Meeting and the Board of Directors. In response to the IT trouble caused by ransomware that occurred during the current period, the Risk Management Committee took the lead in responding, and reported to the Board of Directors as appropriate. Strengthening cybersecurity measures (utilization of cloud services, backup systems, and employee training) has been identified as an issue to be addressed.

Shareholder Returns

The annual dividend forecast for FY2026 (ending August 2026) is ¥35 per share (an increase of ¥5 from ¥30 in the previous period). The dividend forecast has already been revised (increased). The interim dividend is ¥0, with a year-end dividend of ¥35 paid once annually. There are provisions in the Articles of Incorporation regarding the acquisition of treasury stock.

On the environmental front, the company is advancing food loss reduction and recycling (approximately 5 tons of iron and aluminum and approximately 1 ton of resin cups collected annually) and improving wastewater through the introduction of pre-washed rice.
