Risk Management

A Risk Management Committee chaired by the President is held once every half-year, with individual risks managed by subordinate committees such as the Internal Control Committee, Compliance Committee, and Information Security Committee. A Risk Management Operating Program is formulated annually, and a system is in place to report the status of operations to the Board of Directors.

Shareholder Returns

The basic policy is to maintain stable dividends, in principle paid once annually as a year-end dividend. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), the dividend was increased to ¥7 per share (total dividends of ¥95 million, payout ratio of 13.0%). For FY2027 (ending March 2027), the same amount of ¥7 is forecast. There is a track record of disposing of treasury shares.

Given the characteristic that business performance is heavily influenced by consumption trends, the basic policy is to strengthen internal reserves while continuing stable dividends. Dividends of surplus are determined by resolution of the Board of Directors, with a year-end dividend paid once annually as the basic approach. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), the dividend is ¥7 per share (total dividends of ¥95 million, payout ratio of 13.0%). The FY2027 (ending March 2027) forecast is also ¥7 per share (forecast payout ratio of 14.7%).

Under its corporate philosophy of "gratitude for nature's blessings," the company promotes the sustainable use of marine resources and environmental conservation. On the human capital side, it has set indicators including a female managerial ratio of 9.6% (target of approximately 10% for FY2027) and an average of 8.4 days of annual paid leave taken (target of approximately 10 days), and is working on rank-based training, harassment prevention, health management, and engagement improvement.
