The Company implements profit returns based on improved business performance, targeting a consolidated dividend payout ratio of around 40%. Even during temporary downturns in performance, stable dividends are maintained taking into account the dividend on equity (DOE) ratio. The basic policy is to pay dividends twice a year, as an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. The interim dividend for FY2026 (ending December 2026) is ¥120 per share, and the full-year forecast is ¥240 per share (interim ¥120 + year-end ¥120). As part of its climate change response, the company achieved investment-based carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and 2 emissions in FY2024 (with continued achievement expected in FY2025), and has set a target of Scope 3 carbon neutrality by 2035. A 2MW solar carport and 2MWh lithium-ion battery storage system have been installed at the head office, enabling the company to self-supply approximately 40% of its electricity. In terms of human capital, the company has formulated DE&I guidelines and appointed an executive officer responsible for promoting DE&I; in 2025, the number of women, foreign nationals, and mid-career hires promoted to managerial positions was 4, 4, and 6, respectively. As part of its TNFD response, the company conducted a natural capital analysis using the LEAP approach, and approximately 3.68 hectares of the HIOKI Forest Hills site in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture has been certified as a Nature Symbiosis Site (OECM).
