Growth Drivers

  • Order intake expanded significantly to ¥4,987 million (up 27.5% year on year), building up an order backlog for future revenue recognition
  • Both government and private-sector construction investment remained solid, sustaining demand for gondolas from general contractors
  • Segment profit surged 106.5% year on year, with profitability improving substantially
  • Enhanced technical capabilities and stronger responsiveness to customer needs through inter-group personnel exchange and development
  • Securing a stable revenue base through the temporary gondola rental business

Risks

  • Deterioration of the business environment due to a severe labor shortage in the construction industry
  • Rising production costs due to persistently high raw material prices and supply chain tightness
  • Difficulty in technology transfer and securing human resources due to the declining birthrate and aging population
  • Risk of interruption to gondola and stage equipment installation work or maintenance/repair due to natural disasters, etc.
  • Risk of recording provisions for construction contract losses (due to fluctuations in estimated cost of completed construction)
  • A significant decline in both net sales and profit is expected for FY2027 (ending March 2027) (consolidated full-year net sales forecast of ¥5,500 million, down 22.0% year on year), posing a risk of a rebound decline in segment performance
