Risk Management

The Internal Control Committee oversees company-wide compliance and risk management, conducting regular risk reviews. The Company has established a three-tiered audit system comprising internal audits, audits by Audit & Supervisory Board Members, and audits by the accounting auditor. In addition, the Sustainability Promotion Committee monitors various risks, including climate-related risks, on a quarterly basis and reports to the Board of Directors once or twice a year.

The company addresses ESG issues cross-functionally, centered on the Sustainability Promotion Committee under the direct oversight of the President and Representative Director, and has set targets of a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 (versus FY2017) and a 100% reduction by 2050.
