Business
TerraSky Co., Ltd., founded in 2006, is a Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market-listed company specializing in cloud services, positioning itself as a "leading company of the cloud generation." The company operates on two pillars: Cloud Integration centered on Salesforce (Solutions Business), and its own suite of SaaS products built on the Salesforce platform (Products Business). The group, comprising 12 consolidated subsidiaries and 1 equity-method affiliate, covers a diverse range of cloud domains including SAP Cloud Migration (BeeX), AWS consulting, Google Cloud utilization, and quantum computing research (Quemix). Cumulative cloud service implementations have surpassed 20,000 cases, with a broad customer base spanning major financial institutions, manufacturers, non-life insurers, and other industries.
Business Model
In the Solutions Business, which accounts for approximately 92% of revenue, the company's core focus is on commissioned projects for cloud consulting, integration, and ERP implementation, while also building up recurring revenue through maintenance and MSP services. In the Products Business, the company provides SaaS products such as "mitoco," "SkyVisualEditor," and "mitoco X" on a subscription basis, establishing a stable base of recurring revenue. The two businesses function in a mutually complementary manner, forming a structure in which cross-selling through bundling products with Solutions Business projects supports revenue expansion.
Company Strengths
As of January 1, 2025, the company holds a top-class number of certified professionals across multiple categories in Japan, including No.1 in Japan for Certified Technical Architects (5 of 21 individuals nationwide), No.1 in Japan for Certified Platform App Builders (437 individuals), and No.3 in Japan for Certified Administrators (539 individuals). The company also employs 3 of Japan's 14 Salesforce MVPs, underpinning its capability to handle large-scale and complex projects.
In April 2024, the company entered into a capital and business alliance agreement with NTT DATA and established the "NTT DATA Salesforce Hub." By combining NTT DATA's extensive customer base and sales network with TerraSky's Salesforce technical capabilities, the company became able to accelerate its Salesforce business nationwide. In the same year, the company won double awards at the Salesforce Japan Partner Award 2024, receiving both "Industry of the Year" and "Emerging Technology of the Year."
As a Salesforce-dedicated integrator since its founding, the company has surpassed 20,000 cumulative implementations of cloud services such as Salesforce and AWS. Its extensive track record of large-scale and complex projects for major financial institutions, major non-life insurance groups, and major automobile companies serves as the foundation of trust underpinning new orders. The order backlog for the Solutions Business in FY2025 (ending February 2025) remained at a high level of ¥4,247,696 million (145.8% year-on-year).
ENVALITH's Perspective
Performance Trend
Revenue expanded from ¥12,578 million in FY2022 to ¥28,057 million in FY2026, more than 2.2x over four years. The operating margin declined to the 3% range in FY2023–FY2024, but recovered sharply in FY2025 (¥1,452 million) and FY2026 (¥1,560 million). In Q1 of FY2027 (ending February 2027) (March–May 2026), revenue was ¥7,946 million (+20.3% year-on-year), operating profit was ¥566 million (+79.0% year-on-year), and quarterly net income attributable to owners of the parent was ¥350 million (+64.5% year-on-year), reflecting a substantial increase in profit. In addition to reduced outsourcing costs and the effects of group reorganization, the consolidation of KitAlive as a subsidiary contributed to revenue. As an external factor, the continued expansion of the domestic cloud market has supported order intake across the group as a whole. The full-year forecast (revenue of ¥34,349 million, operating profit of ¥2,541 million) remains unchanged.
Growth Strategy
Maintaining Salesforce as its core business while expanding into growth areas through AI, multi-cloud, and regional expansion
Deploying system development and implementation support services leveraging Salesforce's autonomous AI agent "Agentforce." Viewing market changes driven by generative AI as an opportunity, the company appeals to improved customer ROI to capture new demand in the Salesforce-related market.
Based on the capital and business alliance concluded in April 2024, joint system implementation projects between the two companies began in the previous fiscal year. By gaining access to large enterprise projects through NTT DATA's customer base, the company aims to expand order scale and accelerate revenue growth.
Implemented group restructuring measures including the absorption-type merger of two subsidiaries, dissolution of the U.S. subsidiary, and reduction of outsourcing costs. Results have materialized in the first quarter of FY2027 (ending March 2027), including the turnaround to profitability of the Products Business (segment profit of ¥48 million) and improved profit margins in the Solutions Business.
Made KitAlive Inc. (5039), listed on the Sapporo Securities Exchange Ambitious market, a consolidated subsidiary, strengthening the rollout of Salesforce implementation support in the Hokkaido and regional markets. This expands the group's geographic coverage and creates new customer acquisition opportunities.
Advancing the use of AI in system development while promoting the release of proprietary AI products. Through reskilling of engineers, the company is developing AI-capable talent, simultaneously expanding orders for AI-related projects and improving development productivity.
