The company has established the Comprehensive Risk Management Committee, chaired by the Representative Director, Senior Managing Director and COO, to centrally manage risks across the entire group. Under a progressive dividend policy, the annual dividend for FY2026 (ending March 2026) was set at ¥70 per share (interim ¥35 + year-end ¥35), representing a payout ratio of 44.5%. The annual dividend for FY2027 (ending March 2027) is also forecast at ¥70 (payout ratio of 41.9%–44.2%). During the period, the company conducted share buybacks totaling ¥20,474 million.

Dividend Policy

The basic policy is to provide continuous and stable profit distribution while taking into account consolidated earnings and future funding needs, and to pursue a progressive dividend policy with flexible dividend increases targeting a consolidated payout ratio of approximately 40% in line with sustainable profit growth. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), an interim dividend of ¥35 and a year-end dividend of ¥35 (annual total of ¥70, payout ratio of 44.5%) were implemented. Under its environmental strategy "EARTH FOOD CHALLENGE 2030," the company is working on CO2 emissions reduction (targeting a 42% reduction in Scope 1+2 versus 2020, with actual results of a 20.6% reduction in 2025), sustainable palm oil procurement, and biodiversity (TNFD response), and has declared carbon neutrality by 2050. In human capital, it became the first food company in the world to obtain ISO 30414 certification, achieving its target of a 10% ratio of female managers and promoting diversity, including a 71.5% rate of male employees taking childcare leave (in Japan).
