On the environmental front, the company is promoting food loss reduction (considering the introduction of an AI demand forecasting system and developing long-life products), recycling plastic containers and converting to biomass-based materials, and installing energy-saving and CO2-reduction equipment. In terms of human capital, it introduced a new merit-based personnel system in March 2023, setting targets of raising the ratio of female managers to at least 5% and the male childcare leave uptake rate to at least 30%.
