Growth Drivers

  • Expansion of security demand from individuals and corporations against a backdrop of perceived deterioration in public safety (penal code offenses increasing for the fourth consecutive year, frequent robbery incidents)
  • Pass-through of cost increases to revenue through the spread of price revisions (price increases)
  • Capturing on-site security demand by responding to the 20th Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya) and 5th Asian Para Games in September 2026
  • Expansion of airport facility security and security for production sites relocating back to Japan in response to growing inbound demand
  • Expansion of value-added services such as IT Rescue, Facility Rescue, User Rescue, and cybersecurity leveraging the mechanical security infrastructure
  • Growth in orders for individual home security centered on HOME ALSOK Connect
  • Improved productivity through labor-saving and efficiency gains in on-site security via DX and other means
  • Expansion of business services such as facility inspections using drones

Risks

  • Risk that rising production costs such as labor and outsourcing expenses will squeeze profit margins (labor costs continuing to rise due to improved employee treatment)
  • Difficulty securing security personnel and rising recruitment costs amid the declining birthrate and aging population
  • Structural risk of contraction in the cash transport business due to reductions and consolidation of financial institution branches, including declining ATM numbers
  • Increasing capital expenditure burden to respond to technological innovation such as DX, AI, and robotics
  • Risk of a downturn in demand for on-site security following the conclusion of major events (such as the Asian Games)
  • Impact of external environmental changes, such as U.S. trade policy and Middle East conditions, on corporate capital expenditure and security demand
