Risk Management

The Company has established a Risk Management Committee, chaired by the director in charge of administration, to implement company-wide risk management. Based on the Risk Management Regulations, risks and opportunities related to sustainability issues are identified and assessed, with regular reports made to the Board of Directors, the Management Committee, the Audit and Supervisory Committee, and the Management Conference. A BCP (earthquake response manual) has also been established.

Shareholder Returns

The annual dividend forecast for FY2026 (ending August 2026) is ¥135 per share (an increase from ¥110 in the previous period). The payout ratio is 28.7%. A new provision for shareholder benefits has been recorded, and a shareholder benefit program has been introduced. Share buybacks are also being continued.

Dividend Policy

The policy targets a payout ratio of approximately 20% to 35% over the long term, aiming to implement stable and continuous dividends. While a semi-annual dividend system (interim and year-end dividends) has been established, dividends are basically paid via the year-end dividend. For FY2026 (ending August 2026), the company plans to pay ¥135 per share (annual) (following the upward revision announced on June 29, 2026), an increase of ¥25 from the previous period's actual ¥110. Key priorities include CO2 reduction, 3R promotion, and proper disposal of fluorocarbons on the environmental side, and work-style reform, human resource development, and diversity promotion on the social side. Obtained Ibaraki Eco Business Site "AAA" certification and Ibaraki Health Management Promotion Business Site certification. Achieved a 100% rate of paternity leave uptake among male employees, while the ratio of female managers stood at 1.5%, falling short of the 5% target.
