Risk Management

The Risk Management Committee, chaired by the Representative Director and President, oversees the identification, assessment, and management of company-wide risks in accordance with the Risk Management Regulations. The Company has established a framework whereby the Committee deliberates on sustainability-related risks (including climate change and climate-related factors) and reports to the Board of Directors at least once a year.

Shareholder Returns

For FY2026 (ending March 2026), an annual dividend of ¥55 per share (interim ¥10 + year-end ¥45) will be implemented, with a payout ratio of 24.6%. For FY2027 (ending March 2027), a dividend of ¥62 (interim ¥10 + year-end ¥52) is forecast. Share buybacks will also continue.

Under the "Hokuto Sustainability Targets" formulated in February 2025, the company aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 15% by FY2029 (ending March 2029) compared to FY2024 (ending March 2024), and has achieved a 32.1% reduction in CO2 emissions through fuel conversion at the Komoro Mushroom Center. In terms of human capital, the company has set quantitative targets and is working on three priority initiatives: promoting DE&I, creating a comfortable workplace, and health management.
