Governance

Risk Management

The company has established a risk management framework overseen by the General Manager of the Administration Division, developing manuals for personal information protection, receivables management, health and safety, and crisis management. In the event of an emergency, a response headquarters headed by the President and Representative Director is set up, and the company maintains a system in which a quarterly "Risk Review Meeting" identifies and discusses sustainability risks, including climate change, on a company-wide, cross-functional basis.

Shareholder Returns

The basic policy is to pay dividends twice a year (interim and year-end). For FY2026 (ending March 2026), the dividend is ¥46 per share (interim ¥23 + year-end ¥23), with a payout ratio of 30.6%. For FY2027 (ending March 2027), a dividend of ¥48 per share (interim ¥24 + year-end ¥24) is forecast. No share buybacks have been conducted.

In December 2023, the company launched the "Sustainability Promotion Project," led by the President and Representative Director. On the environmental side, initiatives include investment in Akita Prefecture green bonds and promotion of sustainable food. On the human capital side, the company has achieved a ratio of female managerial candidates of 20% or more (target for March 2027), a 100% rate of paternity leave uptake among male employees, and an actual employment rate of persons with disabilities of 3.0% (exceeding the statutory requirement of 2.5%).
