The company is a Company with a Board of Corporate Auditors. The Board of Directors consists of 11 members (including 5 outside directors, with independent outside directors accounting for at least one-third), and the executive officer system separates decision-making/oversight functions from business execution. Dividend Policy
The basic policy is to continue stably distributing results in accordance with performance, with a year-end dividend (once per year) as the base. For FY2026 (ending April 2026), a dividend of ¥100 per share was implemented (total dividends of ¥3,533 million), with a payout ratio of 20.3% (consolidated). Note that net income for the period includes an additional recognition of deferred tax assets (approximately ¥4,000 million), which pushes up the effective payout ratio. For FY2027 (ending April 2027), a dividend of ¥100 per share is also planned (payout ratio forecast at 23.4%).
ESG
The company supports the TCFD recommendations and has set targets for FY2030 of a 30% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions versus FY2021 levels and a 30% renewable energy conversion rate (FY2025 (ended April 2025) results: Scope 1 2.3 thousand t-CO2, Scope 2 22.2 thousand t-CO2, Scope 3 963.0 thousand t-CO2). In terms of human capital, the ratio of female managers reached 40.6% (FY2025 ending April 2025), and the childcare leave utilization rate reached 98.1% (female) and 56.7% (male). The company has identified six materiality themes (Contribution to Regional Healthcare, Providing Beauty and Wellness, Safety, Security and Trust, Reducing Environmental Impact, Sound Management Foundation, and Collaboration with Local Communities and Business Partners), and the Sustainability Committee works together with the Board of Directors to manage and oversee KPIs.
