The basic policy is to maintain stable dividends, and for fiscal 2025 (FY2026, ending March 2026), an annual dividend of ¥50 per common share (interim ¥25, year-end ¥25) was implemented. The payout ratio was 15.9%. The forecast for fiscal 2026 also maintains the same amount of ¥50. Share buybacks are minor.

Dividend Policy

The basic policy is to maintain stable dividends, with decisions made by comprehensively considering the fiscal year's business results as well as medium- to long-term income/expenditure and financial conditions. For fiscal 2025 (FY2026, ending March 2026), the dividend on common shares was ¥50 per share annually (interim ¥25, year-end ¥25), with total dividends of ¥23,694 million and a payout ratio of 15.9%. The forecast for fiscal 2026 (FY2027, ending March 2027) also calls for an annual dividend of ¥50 per common share (interim ¥25, year-end ¥25). In addition, for Class B preferred shares (unlisted), an annual dividend of ¥2,900,000 per share (interim and year-end ¥1,450,000 each) was implemented.

Under the "Kyuden Group Carbon Neutrality Vision 2050," the company aims for early realization of carbon negativity by 2050, setting quantitative targets such as renewable energy sales volume of 33.0 billion kWh (FY2030 target) and a GHG emissions intensity of 0.36 kg-CO2/kWh (FY2030 target). In human capital management, based on the core principle of "Creating the future, starting from our aspirations," the company is advancing multifaceted ESG initiatives, including promoting DE&I and being certified as an Excellent Health & Productivity Management Corporation (White 500) for four consecutive years.
