Governance
As a company with a Board of Corporate Auditors, the company has a Board of Directors comprising 9 directors (3 of whom are outside directors) and 22 executive officers, and has established voluntary Nomination Committee, Officer Compensation Committee, and Conflict of Interest Management Committee. The Board of Directors meets 17 times per year and conducts an effectiveness evaluation annually.
Risk Management
The Risk & Compliance Committee serves as the core body for developing risk management and compliance systems across the group. Sustainability risks are also managed by the Sustainability Promotion Committee, with both committees regularly reporting to the Board of Directors and the Board of Corporate Auditors.
Shareholder Returns

ESG
Under its 2050 carbon neutrality declaration, the company has obtained SBTi certification, achieving a 49.2% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions in FY2025 compared to FY2013 levels (exceeding the 37% target). In terms of human capital, the company reports an employee engagement score of 61.7 (surpassing the target of 60 or above) and a female manager ratio of 7.6% (targeting 10% or above by FY2028), and has been selected as a constituent stock in all six domestic ESG indices adopted by GPIF.
