Key Products
Growth Drivers
- Active launch of new products (Kissa Punilab, CIRCULA sustainable series, Open Ring Note Mini, XCOA functional pen cases, heatstroke prevention products, etc.)
- Improved business mix driven by strong growth in the Binder / Clear Book Division (+12.7% year on year in the first quarter)
- Increase in mail-order sales driven by expansion of the EC market and progress of cashless payments
- Increase in sales from the overseas sales division (utilization of LIHIT LAB. VIETNAM INC. and expansion of sales channels through domestic and overseas distributors)
- Expansion of sales channels to mass retailers and drugstores (diversification of channels across business formats)
- Improved profitability through price revisions (in response to rising raw material and import costs)
Risks
- Risk of sales concentration in major customers (major mail-order companies) (ASKUL approximately 19%, Ecole Distribution Group approximately 15%)
- Risk of rising import procurement costs due to yen depreciation (reduced operating profit by 19.6% year on year in the first quarter)
- Structural decline in corporate demand due to companies' paperless initiatives and digital transformation
- Intensifying competition from overseas and low-priced products (polarization of individual demand)
- Risk of economic downturn and rising procurement costs due to geopolitical risks such as U.S. tariff policy
- Risk of continued significant sales decline in the Other Office Supplies Division (-13.9% year on year in the first quarter)
