The Company has established a Risk Management Committee chaired by the Director in charge of the Administration Headquarters, which quantifies risks across six categories—"Operations," "Finance," "Compliance with Laws and Regulations," "Labor," "Disaster," and "Environment"—by likelihood and impact for monitoring purposes. A Sustainability Committee chaired by the Representative Director and President has also been established, with a framework in place to regularly report deliberated matters to the Management Committee and the Board of Directors.

Shareholder Returns

Revised the annual dividend forecast for FY2026 (ending June 2026) to ¥155 per share (a substantial increase from ¥96 in the prior fiscal year). The basic policy is a single year-end dividend, with articles of incorporation provisions allowing for an interim dividend as well, subject to a resolution of the Board of Directors. The actual dividend for FY2025 (ended June 2025) was ¥96 per share (paid as a single year-end dividend). The forecast for FY2026 (ending June 2026) has been revised to ¥155 per share (paid as a single year-end dividend), representing a revision from the most recently announced forecast.

Under the 'Furuya Metal CSR Charter' established in January 2022, the company promotes contribution to a green society through precious metal recycling and catalyst development, and maintains zero CO2 emissions at its factories through 100% renewable energy power procurement (targeting Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry S-Class certification). In terms of human capital, the company has set targets of a female manager ratio of 10% or more and a male childcare leave take-up rate of 100% by the end of June 2028, and is working to build a human resource foundation integrating recruitment, environment, and development. Currently, the female manager ratio stands at 4.6% and the male childcare leave take-up rate is 90.9%.
