Risk Management

The Company conducts periodic risk assessment and management based on its Risk Management Regulations and Information Security Management Regulations. It has established a business continuity plan (BCP) and dual data centers for critical information equipment, and positions food safety (mislabeling, pesticide residues, infectious diseases, etc.) as a key priority in risk management. It has set up a Compliance Committee, an internal whistleblowing hotline, and an Internal Control Committee, and conducts periodic internal audits through its Audit Department.

The company aims for a consolidated payout ratio of 30% or more and follows a policy of stable, continuous dividends. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), the interim dividend is ¥47 and the year-end dividend is ¥55, for an annual total of ¥102 (payout ratio 30.1%). For FY2027 (ending March 2027), the company forecasts an interim dividend of ¥52 and a year-end dividend of ¥52, for an annual total of ¥104.

Dividend Policy

Under the "SMILE PROJECT Activities," the company has set unique targets linked to the SDGs. On the environmental side, it aims to reduce CO₂ emissions by 46% by 2030 compared to 2015 levels (10,670 t-CO₂ actual in the 66th fiscal year), while promoting expanded sales of MSC- and ASC-certified products and mangrove planting activities in Southeast Asia. On the human capital side, it has set KPIs of a 70% paid leave utilization rate and 30 female managers (actual results for the current fiscal year: 43.3% and 19 people), and is working on health management, diversity promotion, and human resource development through the OIE original education system program.
