Under its sustainability policy "Serendip Sustainability," the company has set three group-wide common themes: talent development, internal environment improvement, and climate change response. In climate change response, the company is promoting the provision of "GreenConnex," a cloud service for real-time CO₂ emissions measurement, and the development of "MPS," a recycling processing technology by subsidiary Mitsuiya Kogyo. On the talent side, the company is pursuing early selection and development of management candidates, promotion of women's advancement, and utilization of generative AI, among other initiatives, but quantitative indicators and targets are currently under consideration.
