Governance
The company has adopted an executive officer system as a company with a board of corporate auditors, separating management and execution. The term of directors is one year, and the Board of Directors (held 13 times per year), the Board of Corporate Auditors, and the Management Committee are operated functionally. A Sustainability Committee chaired by the Representative Director and President has also been established.
Risk Management
For individual risks such as environmental, disaster, quality, and export control risks, the responsible departments develop regulations and conduct evaluation and prevention under the direction of the responsible director. The BCM Committee centrally manages risk information, the internal audit department monitors the implementation status of risk management, and BCP drills are conducted on a regular basis.
Shareholder Returns
Annual dividend for FY2026 (ending March 2026) is ¥100 per share (year-end lump sum, total dividends ¥1,018 million, payout ratio 18.2%), a substantial increase from ¥65 in the prior period. The company also forecasts ¥100 per share for FY2027 (ending March 2027). During the fiscal year, the company acquired ¥535 million of treasury stock (treasury shares outstanding at fiscal year-end: 157,905 shares).
Dividend Policy
Distributions are determined by comprehensively considering internal reserves needed to maintain and strengthen competitiveness within the industry, the level of return on equity, business performance, and other factors. The basic policy is to pay dividends twice a year: an interim dividend (record date September 30, resolved by the Board of Directors) and a year-end dividend (record date March 31, resolved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders). For FY2026 (ending March 2026), there is no interim dividend, with a year-end dividend of ¥100, bringing the annual dividend to ¥100 (up from ¥65 in the prior period). For FY2027 (ending March 2027), the annual dividend is forecast at ¥100 (year-end dividend of ¥100).
ESG
Under the 'Environmental Vision 2050,' the company achieved a 34.5% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions in FY2025 compared to the base year (against a target of 35.0%), and achieved 1,004,370 t-CO2 in CO2 reduction contribution through product use. In terms of human capital, the company obtained the Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization 2025 recognition and Kurumin certification, and is also promoting social initiatives such as ISO45001 certification and a 100% participation rate in human rights-related training.
