Risk Management

The company has established a system in which the Sustainability Promotion Committee, headed by the President and Representative Director, oversees the Global Warming Countermeasures Committee, the CSR Committee, and the Risk Management Committee, evaluating identified risks in terms of impact and frequency of occurrence and implementing countermeasures accordingly. Relevant regulations concerning management risk have been established, and a person responsible for managing each individual risk has been designated.

Shareholder Returns

Aims for a payout ratio of around 30%, with dividends paid twice a year. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), the annual dividend is ¥98 per share (interim ¥25 + year-end ¥73), with a payout ratio of 30.0%. For FY2027 (ending March 2027), an annual dividend of ¥77 (interim ¥39 + year-end ¥38) is planned. Share buybacks are also conducted (¥4,201 million during the current period).

The company promotes information disclosure based on TCFD as part of its climate change response, setting targets of a 46% reduction in total CO2 emissions by the end of FY2030 (versus FY2013) and carbon neutrality by FY2050, and announced its SBT commitment in March 2025. In terms of human capital, the ratio of new female graduate hires reached 44% (exceeding the 30% target), and the company has introduced a senior employee system while promoting talent development by job level, function, and globally. All production sites have obtained ISO14001 and ISO9001 certification.
