The Board of Directors consists of 5 directors (including 2 outside directors) and 3 statutory auditors (all outside), constituting a company with a Board of Statutory Auditors. The company has established a monthly Board of Directors meeting, a Management Committee, an Internal Audit Office, and a Risk and Compliance Committee, and has developed a three-way audit system.
Risk Management
The Company has established a risk management framework based on its Crisis Management Regulations, and identifies and addresses risks across the group through the Risk and Compliance Committee, which meets twice a year. For M&A and other investment projects, an Investment Advisory Committee has been established to conduct multifaceted evaluations. Drawing on past experience with surging market prices in the Energy business, the Company is working to further strengthen its risk management functions.
