The annual dividend forecast for FY2026 (ending December 2026) is ¥42 per share (ordinary dividend of ¥32 plus special dividend of ¥10), an increase of ¥1 year on year. ¥21 is planned for each of the second-quarter-end and year-end dividends. Based on the resolution of the Board of Directors in February 2026, 683,900 shares of treasury stock have already been acquired.
Dividend Policy
The company's policy is to target a payout ratio of 40% or more in principle, and a dividend on equity (DOE) ratio of 3% or more as a guideline. It aims to achieve a stable improvement in dividend levels over the medium to long term, and intends to flexibly implement special dividends and treasury stock acquisitions. Dividends of surplus are, in principle, paid twice a year (interim and year-end), and the Articles of Incorporation stipulate that such payments may be made by resolution of the Board of Directors. The forecast dividend for FY2026 (ending December 2026) is ¥21 at the second-quarter-end (ordinary dividend of ¥16 plus special dividend of ¥5) and ¥21 at year-end (ordinary dividend of ¥16 plus special dividend of ¥5), totaling ¥42.
ESG
Endorses the TCFD and has obtained SBTi certification, setting targets to reduce Scope 1+2 emissions by 50% by FY2030 (vs. FY2022) and Scope 3 (Categories 1 and 4) emissions by 25% over the same period. In human capital initiatives, the company has set FY2026 targets of a 10% ratio of female managers and a 100% childcare leave utilization rate, and has been certified as an Excellent Health Management Corporation (Large Enterprise Category) for three consecutive years. As a TNFD Adopter, the company is also advancing biodiversity assessment and working to commercialize blue carbon business.
