Risk Management

The company has established a company-wide integrated risk management framework in which each department and various committees (chaired by a director or executive officer) identify and assess sustainability risks and report them to the President, the Management Committee, and the Board of Directors. It has also established crisis management regulations under which a response headquarters, headed by the President, is set up in the event of an emergency.

Shareholder Returns

For FY2026 (ending March 2026), an interim dividend of ¥100 and a year-end dividend of ¥120 (total ¥220) were implemented, with a payout ratio of 45.9%. Share buybacks of ¥1,374 million were also conducted. For FY2027 (ending March 2027), a total dividend of ¥210 (expected payout ratio of 45.3%) is planned. The company continues its policy under the medium-term plan "SANYO VISION 79" to target a consolidated payout ratio of 45% or more.

Dividend Policy

The basic policy is to pay continuous and stable dividends, implemented twice a year through an interim dividend (resolved by the Board of Directors) and a year-end dividend (resolved at the General Meeting of Shareholders). Under the medium-term three-year management plan "SANYO VISION 79," the company aims to maintain and improve dividend amounts targeting a consolidated payout ratio of 45% or more. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), an interim dividend of ¥100 and a year-end dividend of ¥120 (total ¥220, total dividend amount of ¥636 million, payout ratio of 45.9%) were implemented. For FY2027 (ending March 2027), an interim dividend of ¥100 and a year-end dividend of ¥110 (total ¥210, expected payout ratio of 45.3%) are planned.

Under its basic sustainability policy, the company has achieved ISO environmental management system certification at all business sites (achieved) and a 100% compliance training participation rate (achieved). In terms of human capital, it continues working toward its targets, with the ratio of female managers at 5.1% (target: 10%) and the male childcare leave uptake rate at 11.1% (target: 30%). The company publishes an environmental management report based on Eco Action 21, promoting the reduction of environmental impact and contribution to local communities.
