Risk Management

The company has established a Compliance and Risk Management Committee composed of executive directors, full-time Audit and Supervisory Committee members, and executive officers, which has identified and manages 17 priority risks selected from 235 items identified across all business locations. In coordination with the Sustainability Committee, the company also conducts quantitative assessments of climate change risks (transition and physical risks) based on TCFD recommendations.

Dividends are paid twice a year. Actual FY2026 (ending February 2026) dividend was ¥55.00 per share (interim ¥20 + year-end ¥35). The forecast for FY2027 (ending February 2027) is ¥55.00 per share (interim ¥25 + year-end ¥30), unchanged from the previous fiscal year. The company disposed of treasury shares as restricted stock compensation.

ESG

Established the Sustainability Committee and basic policy in March 2022, and endorsed the TCFD. The company targets a 46% reduction in Scope 1+2 emissions by FY2030 (versus FY2013) and carbon neutrality by FY2050, and plans to raise the sales ratio of its environmentally contributing products "MORESCO Green SX" to 40% by FY2026 and 50% by FY2030. On human capital, the company discloses a female manager ratio of 11.7% (FY2030 target: 15%) and a male childcare leave uptake rate of 87.5% (FY2030 target of 80% already achieved). In FY2025, the company newly established a Sustainability Management Department to strengthen its promotion framework.
