Business

Core Concept Technologies Inc. operates under the purpose of "Contributing to the sustainable development of industry through technology and human capability," providing DX Support Service primarily to manufacturing, construction, and logistics industries, as well as IT Talent Procurement Support Service to major SIers, consulting firms, and business corporations. In its DX support business, the company leverages its proprietary methodology, the CCT-DX Method, and its DX development platform, Orizuru, to provide end-to-end support from concept development through to in-house implementation support. In its IT talent procurement support business, the company utilizes Ohgi, a broad business partner network of small and medium-sized IT companies, to respond swiftly to customer demand. The company's core customer base consists of large and mid-sized enterprises with sales of ¥50 billion or more, with manufacturing, construction, and transportation/warehousing industries accounting for approximately 90% of sales. For FY2025 (ended March 2025), sales were ¥20,878 million and operating profit was ¥2,202 million.

Business Model

With outsourcing costs accounting for roughly 60% of the cost structure, the company leverages the "Ohgi" network to secure orders exceeding what its own employee headcount could handle. Prime contractor projects account for approximately 60% of the business, mainly DX support for operating companies. The remaining approximately 40% consists of subcontracted IT Talent Procurement Support Service work from major SIers and others. The company has a stable base with an existing-customer repeat rate of approximately 90%, and manages project risk while accumulating earnings through quasi-delegation contracts (approximately 90%) and the segmentation of short-term contracts.

Company Strengths

Since its founding, the company has deepened its capabilities in shape recognition, 3D graphics, AI, IoT, CAD/CAM/PLM/MES, and BIM/CIM, and employs numerous PMs and engineers well-versed in manufacturing site operations. Its ability to distinguish between tasks that should and should not utilize AI, as well as its capacity to provide customization (retrofitting) for existing equipment, serve as key differentiators from competitors.

By leveraging "Ohgi," a broad business partner network of small and medium-sized IT companies built since the company's founding, the ratio of outsourcing costs to revenue is approximately 60%. In an environment where IT engineer supply and demand is tight, this enables the company to take on projects and achieve business leverage beyond its own employee headcount, while also securing financial resilience through outsourcing cost reductions during business environment downturns.

Existing customers account for approximately 90% of revenue. Although this is not a stock-type business, the structure whereby services shift from DX Support Service to IT Talent Procurement Support Service after in-house capability development is completed—while transactions continue—provides a base of stable repeat orders that underpins high growth. Revenue expanded from ¥15,921 million in FY2023 (ending March 2023) to ¥20,878 million in FY2025 (ending March 2025).

ENVALITH's Perspective

Net income attributable to owners of the parent for Q1 FY2026 (ending December 2026) fell sharply to ¥139 million (down 66.4% year on year), mainly due to the temporary recognition of a ¥297 million trust-type stock option related loss (non-deductible for tax purposes) associated with a change in the issuance method of the 3rd stock acquisition rights. Operating profit was ¥599 million (up 0.1% year on year), essentially flat, indicating that the underlying business remains solid. The full-year net income forecast of ¥1,330 million (down 11.4% year on year) also reflects the impact of this loss, and investors should distinguish between this one-time factor and the company's recurring earnings power when evaluating performance.

Selling, general and administrative expenses increased to ¥855 million (up 10.9% year on year) in Q1 FY2026 (ending December 2026), outpacing revenue growth (+7.9%) and offsetting the improvement in gross margin (26.2% in the same period last year to 26.8% this period). Revenue growth has also continued to decelerate, from +55.3% in FY2022 to +8.9% in FY2025. Even as the DX market continues to expand (a tailwind from external factors), there remains a risk that rising fixed costs, such as personnel and recruitment expenses, will constrain further margin upside.

In Q1 FY2026 (ending December 2026), the company conducted share buybacks totaling ¥352 million and raised its dividend forecast from ¥19 in the previous fiscal year to ¥21 for FY2026 (forecast). On the other hand, short-term borrowings increased by ¥420 million, and the equity ratio declined from 59.1% (end of FY2025, ending December 2025) to 54.6% (end of Q1 FY2026, ending December 2026). Cash and deposits also decreased by ¥633 million from the previous fiscal year-end to ¥1,873 million, underscoring the need to continue monitoring the balance between active shareholder returns and financial soundness. There is no note regarding going concern assumptions.

Growth Strategy

Deepening DX in manufacturing, construction, and logistics, and expanding the virtuous cycle of projects and talent through growth of the Ohgi network

Capturing accelerating company-wide DX investment among large enterprises centered on manufacturing, construction, and logistics, the company maintains its prime contractor ratio through high-value-added proposals leveraging AI and 3D technology. DX Support Service revenue in Q1 of FY2026 (ending December 2026) continued double-digit growth, up +12.3% year on year.

Utilizing "Ohgi," a database of small and medium-sized IT companies and engineers, the company is strengthening its ability to rapidly secure talent amid tight supply-demand conditions for IT engineers. Supported also by the expanding BPO market, IT Talent Procurement Support Service maintained stable growth (Q1 of FY2026 (ending December 2026): +3.9% year on year).

The company is expanding the number of leads through increased sales activity resulting from organizational restructuring and strengthened relationships with partner companies. It aims to raise customer unit prices through upselling and cross-selling, leveraging its base of existing customers with a repeat rate of approximately 90%.

The annual dividend forecast for FY2026 (ending December 2026) has been raised from ¥19 in the previous period to ¥21. The company conducted share buybacks of ¥352 million in Q1 of FY2026 (ending December 2026), actively enhancing shareholder returns. The dividend forecast remains unchanged (maintaining the figures announced on February 13, 2026).
