Risk Management

The Compliance Committee (chaired by the President, Representative Director and Executive Officer, and composed of all directors, meeting twice a year) works together with the Compliance Implementation Committee to address a wide range of risks, including legal, HR/labor, funding, quality, environmental, and information security risks. The Sustainability Committee manages sustainability risks, including climate change risk, while the Internal Control & Audit Office works in coordination with the Audit and Supervisory Committee and the accounting auditor to audit the effectiveness of internal controls.

Shareholder Returns

The basic policy is DOE (dividend on equity) of 3.0% or more and a payout ratio of 30% or more, with dividends at a DOE level of 4.0% planned during the medium-term management plan period. Actual dividend for FY2025 (ending December 2025) was ¥195 per share (interim ¥95 + year-end ¥100), and the forecast for FY2026 (ending December 2026) is ¥220 (interim ¥110 + year-end ¥110).

Dividend Policy

A stable dividend policy with the basic principle of continuing a consolidated dividend on equity (DOE) of 3.0% or more and a payout ratio of 30% or more. During the medium-term management plan (2027) period, a special dividend equivalent to DOE of 1.0% will be added on top of the ordinary dividend, achieving a combined dividend level of DOE 4.0%. Actual dividend for FY2025 (ending December 2025) was ¥195 per share (interim ¥95 + year-end ¥100), and the forecast for FY2026 (ending December 2026) is ¥220 per share (interim ¥110 + year-end ¥110). Note that no dividend will be paid at the end of the first quarter of FY2026 (ending December 2026).
