Risk Management

The Company recognizes information security, quality control, and compliance as key risks, conducting risk assessments by department heads, with deliberation and ongoing monitoring at the Board of Directors and the Management Strategy Meeting. The Sustainability Committee has established a framework whereby sustainability risks are identified and materiality is selected using a checklist, KPIs are set, and results are reported to the Management Strategy Meeting.

Shareholder Returns

For FY2026 (ending September 2026), the annual dividend per share is being increased to ¥21 (interim ¥10.50 + year-end forecast ¥10.50). This represents a 16.7% increase from ¥18 in the previous fiscal year. The dividend forecast has been revised from the previously announced figure. No mention of share buybacks.

Dividend Policy

During the medium-term management plan period (October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2027), the basic policy is to maintain or increase the dividend amount, with profit distribution targeting a payout ratio of approximately 20-50%. For FY2026 (ending September 2026), an interim dividend of ¥10.50 (actual) and a year-end dividend of ¥10.50 (forecast) are planned, for an annual total of ¥21.00. A Sustainability Committee (met 8 times during the fiscal year) has been established directly under the Board of Directors, and four materiality items (realizing financial wellness, providing high-quality systems, developing diverse human resources, and securing trust from society) have been selected, with KPIs being managed accordingly. Regarding human capital, targets disclosed for the end of September 2027 include a ratio of women and foreign nationals in managerial positions of 20% or more (actual: 12.5%), a paid leave utilization rate of 70% or more (actual: 63.7%), 50 AWS certification holders (actual: 43), and an FP (Financial Planner) qualification acquisition rate of 60% (actual: 58%).
