Governance
Company with a Board of Corporate Auditors. The Board of Directors consists of 8 members (including 3 outside directors, an outside ratio of 37.5%); an executive officer system was introduced in 2005. The Board of Directors meets 17 times per year. Voluntary Nomination Committee, Compensation Committee, Compliance Committee, and Sustainability Committee have been established to ensure neutrality and objectivity in management.
Risk Management
Credit, quality, occupational health and safety, information security, disaster, and other risks are managed based on internal rules and manuals. The Sustainability Committee evaluates and reviews sustainability-related risks annually, and a system has been established to periodically report to the Board of Directors the results of materiality assessments of climate change risk, referencing IEA and IPCC scenarios.

Dividend Policy
Dividends are paid twice a year (interim and year-end). The dividend forecast for FY2026 (ending December 2026) is ¥17 at the second quarter-end and ¥25 at year-end, for an annual total of ¥42 per share. Note that a 3-for-1 stock split of common shares was implemented effective July 1, 2025, and the total annual dividend for FY2025 (ending December 2025), adjusted for the stock split, is ¥41.33. There has been no revision to the FY2026 (ending December 2026) dividend forecast from the most recently announced figures.
ESG
The company promotes sustainable management under the purpose of "Enriching society and bringing smiles to people through packaging." It has set a target of reducing CO2 emissions (Scope 1+2) by 46% by 2030 compared to FY2018 levels, and discloses total Scope 1+2+3 emissions of 714,847 t-CO2. In terms of human capital, the company has achieved a 26.7% ratio of female regular employees and an 11.5% ratio of female managers (consolidated), and has obtained certifications including ISO14001, ISO9001, FSC CoC, and FSSC22000. The Sustainability Committee, established in 2023, works in coordination with the Board of Directors to manage KPIs and report on progress.
