Business Details
Centered on the core operations cloud service "@rms" for the food and retail distribution industry, the segment provides EDI, fresh food ordering, product image databases, and business negotiation support platforms to retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers via a shared-use cloud (share cloud) model. With a broad customer base ranging from food supermarkets to major food wholesalers, the business is positioned as a platform operator contributing to supply chain optimization and productivity improvement across the industry.
Recent Overview
Sales increased, but profit declined slightly due to higher labor costs and amortization expenses
In Q1 FY2026 (ending March 2026), sales reached ¥1,368 million (up 11.7% year on year), driven by increased recurring revenue from the expanded adoption of "Sendo Net V2" and "BXNOAH" and progress in the implementation of "@rms V6." On the other hand, segment profit (ordinary income) declined slightly to ¥160 million (down 1.5% year on year), due to increased labor costs from the prior period's staffing reinforcement and higher salary levels, as well as increased software amortization expenses related to the development of "@rms V6." "@rms V6" newly went live at two companies in March 2026, and a new order was also secured from a major supermarket. In addition, the company joined the "Next-Generation Standard EDI Promotion Council between Manufacturers and Wholesalers," whose secretariat is run by the Japan Federation of Processed Food Wholesalers Cooperative Associations, advancing efforts to expand EDI adoption between wholesalers and manufacturers.
