Governance
The company adopts a Board of Directors and Board of Corporate Auditors system, consisting of 9 members including 4 outside directors. The Chairman of the Board serves as chairman, and a voluntary "Nomination and Compensation Committee" has been established to strengthen the transparency and objectivity of governance.
Risk Management
The company has established a system for identifying risks through the Board of Directors, Management Committee, and Management Strategy Committee, along with a collegial approval framework based on internal approval regulations. ESG
The company conducted climate change risk and opportunity analysis based on the TCFD recommendations, setting a target of a 46% reduction in CO2 emissions by FY2030 (versus FY2013) and carbon neutrality by 2050, achieving an estimated 39% reduction as of FY2025. On the human capital front, the company is promoting diversity, health management, and advancement of women (targeting a doubling of the number of female managers by the 2030s compared to 2022), while also advancing supply chain procurement reforms and expanding green products (targeting 50% of sales from environmentally friendly products by FY2030).
