Risk Management

The company has established a framework for collecting and reporting risk information based on its risk management policy, and has set up a cross-functional crisis management team headed by a director. Information sharing is conducted through the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, and the effectiveness of internal controls is ensured through coordination with the Internal Audit Office (2 members) and the Board of Corporate Auditors.

Shareholder Returns

Continuing dividend policy targeting DOE of 2.5%. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), the dividend per share was increased to ¥24 (interim ¥10, year-end ¥14), with a payout ratio of 75.5%. ¥28 per share is planned for FY2027 (ending March 2027). Share buybacks were also conducted (¥285 million during the fiscal year under review).

Dividend Policy

Dividend amounts are determined by comprehensively considering the payout ratio, economic conditions, financial position, retained earnings, and other factors, with a target DOE of 2.5%. Dividends are paid twice a year, as an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), a dividend of ¥24 per share (interim ¥10, year-end ¥14; payout ratio of 75.5%; DOE of 2.0%) was implemented. For FY2027 (ending March 2027), a dividend of ¥28 per share (interim ¥14, year-end ¥14) is planned.

The company positions its contribution to CO₂ reduction—achieved through improved water-extraction performance of its core paper-making felt products—at the core of its environmental initiatives, and sets reduction of energy consumption intensity and promotion of raw material recycling as priority issues under its medium-term management plan. On the human capital side, it has achieved a male childcare leave uptake rate of 92.3% and a female managerial position ratio of 13.6%, and has been certified as an "Excellent Health Management Corporation (Large Enterprise Category)" for two consecutive years since 2025.
