Risk Management

The Management Committee serves as the entity responsible for integrated risk management, with the Risk Management Committee and Group Risk Liaison Committee established as subordinate organizations under it. In principle, these bodies meet every other month to monitor, evaluate, and analyze risks, and a system has been put in place to report to the Board of Directors at least once every six months.

Total return ratio of 40–50% and DOE floor of 4% set as financial policy. For FY2026 (ending March 2026), annual dividend per share of ¥40.0 (interim ¥18.0 + year-end ¥22.0), payout ratio of 41.4%, and share buyback of ¥8,197 million implemented. For FY2027 (ending March 2027), annual dividend of ¥44.0 (interim and year-end ¥22.0 each) is planned.

Dividend Policy

Interim and year-end dividends paid twice a year. Policy targets a total return ratio of 40–50%, with a financial guideline setting the floor for the annual dividend at a level satisfying DOE of 4% (annual dividend amount ÷ average shareholders' equity during the period). For FY2026 (ending March 2026), the annual dividend is ¥40.0 (interim ¥18.0 + year-end ¥22.0), with a payout ratio of 41.4% and a net asset dividend ratio of 4.5%. For FY2027 (ending March 2027), an annual dividend of ¥44.0 (interim and year-end ¥22.0 each) is planned, with an expected payout ratio of 43.7%. Note that a 5-for-1 stock split of common shares was implemented effective April 1, 2025, and the FY2025 (ended March 2025) dividend of ¥170.0 is the actual pre-split amount.

ESG

Under its sustainability policy "Earth Pride – Connecting the Earth –," the company has set decarbonization, biodiversity, D&I, human rights, and circular design as priority issues. It has established GHG reduction targets aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050 and has obtained SBT certification, and also discloses human capital KPIs, including a 22.2% ratio of women in management positions (achieving the 20% target).
