The company continues a stable dividend policy targeting a payout ratio of 40%. For FY2026 (ending December 2026), a stock split (1 share to 3 shares, effective July 1, 2026) is planned, with an interim dividend of ¥177 and a year-end dividend of ¥115 (post-split basis) forecast. On a pre-split basis, the annual dividend would be ¥522 (interim ¥177 plus year-end ¥345). A new shareholder benefit program (¥500 worth of digital gift) has also been introduced.
Dividend Policy
The basic policy targets a payout ratio of 40% based on profit attributable to owners of parent, aiming to achieve stable and continuous dividends. Dividends are paid twice a year, as an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. Actual results for FY2025 (ended December 2025) were an annual dividend of ¥338 (interim ¥165 plus year-end ¥173), with total dividends of ¥2,578 million (including a portion sourced from capital surplus). The forecast for FY2026 (ending December 2026), taking into account the 1-for-3 stock split effective July 1, 2026, is an interim dividend of ¥177 and a year-end dividend of ¥115 (on a pre-split basis, year-end ¥345 and annual total ¥522).
ESG
In February 2022, the Company issued an SDGs Declaration. Placing emphasis on human capital, it has set operating profit per employee as a key KPI (target of ¥100 million or more by FY2027, with actual results of ¥84 million for the current fiscal year). The ratio of female employees stands at 30.5%. The Company is working on talent development and workplace environment improvement (harassment training, childcare/eldercare support, health management support, etc.), while aiming to achieve both social value and corporate value through decarbonization, response to a society with fewer children and more elderly people, and strengthened governance.
