The consolidated subsidiaries SoftFront Japan (commubo, telmee) and Site Publis Co., Ltd. (SITE PUBLIS) are responsible for these businesses. From FY2026 (ending March 2026), the newly established "AI Data Center Business" segment was added, and this segment now forms one of two reporting segments.

For the full year of FY2026 (ending March 2026), the Communication Platform Business recorded revenue of ¥842 million and segment profit of ¥51 million. The accumulation of recurring revenue business progressed through enhanced marketing initiatives. SITE PUBLIS

Regular lecture sessions on operation and implementation methods are held for sales partners to strengthen relationships with both new and existing sales partners. Simplified seminars utilizing archived videos of past seminars have been held multiple times to raise awareness and promote order-taking activities. Seminars featuring case studies of membership-based portal sites have also been conducted to promote the appeal of customer support (CS) efficiency gains.

Growth Drivers

  • Accumulation of recurring revenue business through increased usage-based billing amounts from existing commubo and telmee customers and expansion of new order acquisition
  • Strengthened product competitiveness and differentiation through the major version upgrade of commubo leveraging generative AI and LLM×RAG
  • Continued robust demand for business automation and DX investment in the contact center market (expanding adoption cases in reminder calls, reservation reception, technical support, etc.)
  • Lowered barriers to commubo adoption through expanded external integration with major PBX/CTI systems such as NEC UNIVERGE and BIZTEL
  • Expansion of commubo deployment for service providers through the launch of an OEM service site
  • Strengthened financial foundation (equity ratio of 76.0%, cash and deposits of ¥1,704 million) through third-party allotment capital increases and exercise of stock acquisition rights, securing capacity for growth investment

Risks

  • Risk that consolidated operating losses continue despite standalone segment profitability, due to the allocation of company-wide expenses (¥147 million) (consolidated operating loss of ¥117 million in FY2026 ending March 2026)
  • Risk of increased SG&A expenses (from ¥379 million in the prior period to ¥537 million in the current period) and profit pressure due to expanded upfront investment in marketing costs, personnel recruitment, and office relocation
  • Uncertainty regarding launch costs and the timing of monetization for new businesses (AI Data Center Business and clean energy business)
  • Retained earnings are negative (△¥465 million), and it is expected to take a considerable period to eliminate the accumulated deficit
  • Risk of deterioration in the IT investment environment due to U.S. trade policy and geopolitical risks
  • Low visibility of performance, as the earnings forecast for FY2027 (ending March 2027) has not yet been determined (expected to be announced around June 2026)
