As countermeasures, the company continuously strengthens QC activities at both plants and a company-wide service operation improvement campaign that includes franchisee stores, and conducts an annual recall simulation (mock drills for shipment suspension and recall instructions).

In the event of a large-scale earthquake, major typhoon, or other wind or flood damage, sales and production activities could be severely affected. The timing and scale of such events cannot be predicted, and there are limits to advance preparation. In the event of a disaster, the company plans to promptly establish a Crisis Management Committee to assess human and physical damage, estimate the impact on the supply chain, and establish a business continuity framework that prioritizes the safety of franchisees and employees.

The emergence of a new infectious disease could result in situations where normal business operations cannot be conducted, such as temporary store closures or shortened business hours, and the timing and scale of such occurrences are difficult to predict. As countermeasures, the company implements compliance with FSSC22000 and HACCP standards along with thorough hygiene management at its plants, promotes telework at its head office and sales offices, and introduces mobile ordering systems at stores, aiming to achieve both infection prevention and business continuity.
